Short Bio

José M. Buenaposada is Professor (Catedrático de Universidad) of computer science in the Departamento de "Informática y Estadística" at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC). He received a BS and MS degrees (licenciado) in Computer Science from UPM in 1999. He earned a PhD degree in Computer Science in 2005 (focused in Computer Vision) under the supervision of Dr. Luis Baumela. Since 2007 he has held a permanent position at ETSII (School of Computer Science), URJC.

He does research in Computer Vision and he is also an academic member of the Computer Vision Master Degree (MUVA) at URJC (take a look at our MUVA webpage).
